Tour 1:
Peabody Orlando Expansion Project Monday October 26th 2:30pm - 5:00pm
The Peabody Orlando Expansion is a 660,000 SF, 35-story hotel tower with 750 luxurious guest rooms and suites, 460,000 SF of new convention center space, 57,000 SF of renovated convention center space. In addition, the project includes the construction of an upscale, full-service spa, grotto-style swimming pool, English garden, hiking trail, additional shops, boutiques, restaurant, and a parking garage for 2,800 cars for which we are providing coordination and 29-acres of site work involving extensive utility upgrades and relocations. All tie in to the existing operating hotel.
Although not all 35-stories are guest-accessible (three floors are strictly mechanical levels plus one mast access level), the total height of the Peabody Orlando Expansion with it's 66' - 4" spire is 427'-8", which, when completed, will make it the second tallest building in Orlando.

Tour 2:
Orlando Events Center Project Sunday October 25th 2:00pm - 5:00 pm Sponsored by Fetterhoff Company, Inc.
The Orlando Events Center will be home to the Orlando Magic and Orlando Predators and will compete to host major national events, concerts and family shows. The City of Orlando will operate the new Events Center, while the community will own the facility. Located in downtown Orlando on an 8.75 acre site, the total construction cost is $380 million. The project team is comprised of Design Architect - Populous, formerly HOK Sport; Local Architects - C.T. Hsu + Associates and Baker Barrios Architects, Inc.; Construction Manager - Hunt Construction in association with Rey Group, R.L. Burns, Inc., HZ Construction and Albu & Associates, Inc.; Program Manager - Turner Construction Company.
The Orlando Events Center will be comprised of 875,000 sf that will include 60 private suites, 4 bunker suites, 2 super suites, and 4 party suites. There will be 1,400 club seats and 68 loge boxes. Sustainable building design will exist in various categories, including a sustainable site; water efficiency; energy optimization and atmosphere protection; materials and resource conservation; indoor environmental quality and health; and environmentally preferred operations and maintenance.
